What is the author trying to say in this story? What is his lesson in life?
Is there a moral to this story?
This is a story about (courage? working hard? doing the right thing? greed? importance of friends? jealousy? love? caring? happiness? sadness?): courage and doing the rite thing
This book showed me/I learned from this story: that people can’t make u do what they want you to do
State a problem in the story and how it was solved: jerry would not sell the chocolates for his school
Summary of the story (list up to 6 events that happened in the story; keep them in order):

All the students at trinity high school were supposed to keep the tradition going and participate in the annual school chocolate sale by selling 50 chocolate boxes.

2. A freshman named Jerry refused to sell them, making everyone confused on why he wouldn’t sell them. Turns out that the Vigils (a school club) assigned him not to sell the chocolates for ten days.

3.The vigils then assigned the goober to unscrew all the screws in his homeroom class.

4. After ten days Jerry still would not sell the chocolates. Everyone was confused why he was doing this and not keeping the school tradition alive.

5. The count was in on the boxes sold and they were fifty boxes short(the fifty that jerry didn’t sell).

6. In the end a kid named Archie organized a fight that would auction off the chocolates. They eneded up selling the chocolates and reached their goal for selling the chocolates.

What did you think of the book? Very interesting

Dear Jerry,

Hey man still beat up from that exhibition boxing match? Sounded kind of brutal in your part. I was just wondering Why you didn’t sell the chocolates and kept saying “no” to Brother Leon after the Vigil assignment was over? To me that’s sticking up for yourself but also ruining the schools tradition. So if I was in your place I would’ve taking the dang chocolates and sold them to keep the schools tradition going. I guess it doesn’t seem like that big of a deal in your eyes but suit yourself and do whatever you want to do but if you get into a mess like that again next year, just please sell the chocolates.

Thanks for your time,

Jack
P.S. I was cheering for you in the fight.
