The Black Tattoo

1. After seeing Charlie’s dad, a hobo stole Charlie’s money card and ran. But a man named Nick caught the hobo, got the card back, and asked the boys to take a small test.
2. Jack and Esme failed the tested of holding on to the super hot staff and Charlie became the leader of the Brotherhood.
3. Charlie somehow got more power than Esme, and he is faster, stronger, and better at everything that she has trained for her whole life.

4.Charlie went to Hell with The Scourage, who had already taken over his body.
5. Charlie didn’t know that Esme and Jack would come looking for him.
6. Charlie, Jack, Esme, and The Sons of the Scorpion Flail saved the whole universe.

Letter to Esme.

Dear Esme,
I know it must be really hard for you because you trained your whole life to be the leader of The Brotherhood and Charlie passed the test and you didn’t. I’m happy you didn’t pass though. I didn’t want you to be The Scourges next host. Even thought The Scourage is your father in some strange and odd way. It must have been very confusing when you found out he was, I mean your father shouldn’t be someone who has been trying to get free and destroy the whole universe. I’m sorry you had to see all the pain and misery the people on Earth have gone through, but you were strong, even when you saw how your mother was killed. If only Nick hadn’t been controlled by the scourage, then none of this would have happened. I think it’s really cool how Raymond made his swords. I mean it’s kind of weird, he makes a sword, then turns it into just little shards of metal and feeds it to his pigeons, and then when they poop it out, he turns it into another sword. You must have been really scared when you battled those demon/gladiators. I wouldn’t have ever done that, you are so strong and courageous. You battled demons and monsters, and saved the universe from a horrible end.
I think you are pretty awesome. Oh, yeah, just so you know Jack loves you. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read my letter.

Yours truly,
Hailey
