Nobody “Bod” Owens is an almost normal boy except that he lives in a graveyard where he is raised by ghosts. This fantastic world of the graveyard is full of underground lairs, historical figures, and unbelievable characters that do their best to raise this young boy. Bod has gained much knowledge and a great education from the ghosts who live there, but his desire to learn more about the world leads him to trouble—when he ventures out of the safety of the graveyard a confrontation with that man Jack who killed his family makes for a page-turning adventure. The ghosts around him go through amazing difficulties in attempt to protect him from Jack, and his only real human friend is taken on this adventure with him as he figures out the truth behind his family’s death and his life up to this point.
